United States intelligence says Al Qa'eda has been planning a major attack, but that attack has been thwarted, or at least interdicted for the time being, by the large number of arrests taking place over recent weeks.
US bombers have been placed on alert for possible deployment for operations over Korea.

Yes, actually, I'm not trying to get my hopes up TOO HIGH.....
...but, a friend who worked with him at the company that did the lay-offs...
..well, this friend got a job in downtown Dallas, and there's hope this little company is expanding & might need more artists.
It's a longshot....but the most hopeful longshot we've had in a while...
..cause this friend knows what kind of work son can do...and could reccommend him to the owner...(WHO IS A CHRISTIAN!!)

This 16+ year old cat probably has cancer...blood work indicated recently...she's been a dear, giving us much love and comfort, especially to John, over the years. A big hole in our lives when she's gone....

..My daughter & sister-in-law love their cats so much
..daughter was given Poppy as a wedding present by one of her pupils, and sil found Carport Girl on thier...carport, and they wouldn't let her in the house, and one day, they did, and she never left :)....but sil recently lost Carport Girl to cancer ....
...it hit her hard.
One of the couples have 2 precious little girls....(who they bring)...
..and I am so excited...I've transformed the guest bedroom to a playroom...
..LOL, I have a TV/VCR in there & own Toy STory....and bought a cute game for them, and crayons and drawing stuff, and a stuffed Teddybear....
..and I have tons of Beanie Babies that my daughter gave me :)
The little girls are so well behaved.....they come with their parents every week...(wherever we have it)...and stay quiet for 2 hours.
It will almost be like having surrogate grandchildren for a bit :)))
