Well, I don't know enough about it to comment on the feasibility. However, my democrat sister told me today that she thinks this is a great idea, because it will give us clean air and energy independence.
Since she rarely likes anything from President Bush, I am willing to support a boondoggle, if that is what a hydrogen car is, just to keep some folks happy and QUIET! LOL!

If it keeps the Algore clones off his back while he does his job, and maybe garners a few votes, it's worth the headache.
PS: What'd you think of my other strategery analysis on the AIDS in Africa thing?

Bush is not the type of man to say something simply because it might impress some people ..... and he's a very practical, down-to-earth sort of guy ...... with a Master's degree in business.
If he thinks a hydrogen-powered car is feasible then it just may be. And if they could be produced at a reasonable price and reduce our dependency on oil then I think it would be just grand.
What I don't understand is how people can hear him make a proposal like that specifically mentioning the concept of using less oil and then say that he is in the pockets of Big Oil and is looking our for the interests of his cronies. If his only concern was taking care of his buddies, wouldn't proposing a car that doesn't use petroleum for fuel be the last thing he would do?
