How were the dogs last night?

I'm in minor despair over the dogs. At the beginning of the evening, I was insistent that I was going to leave them together for a few days and force them to get along. Jealousy was their main malady and I wanted them to work it out.

But while I was out there once, they got into such a terrible row that I really thought I had to get Shadow out of there before he got hurt any worse than he did. I'll be going out today and plan to leave him outside with the porch door open. I doubt he'll go anywhere. I don't trust putting him back with Maggie with no one to watch out for them.
