In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
obdurate\OB-du-rit; OB-dyu-rit\, adjective:
1. Hardened in feelings, especially against moral or mollifying influences; unyielding; hard-hearted; stubbornly wicked.

i just got one of those nauseating chain emails from someone celebrating GIRLFRIENDS day (oh GAG ME!). But there was a cute graphic that would be appropriate to post at this point, of 2 little girls standing in front of a scale, and one says to the other "don't step on it, it makes you cry". but it isn't an html thing that would allow me to copy.

that experiment is carried on in the xshousehold. you get just the tiniest smidge of what aggravation i can cause. the fact that xshub has remained married to me for almost 18 years is a testament to my redeeming qualities...; )
