I want to move out of Silicon Valley. I was a technical instructor until being laid off in November, and My wife is a construction project manager focusing on commercial properties. My wife and I have Identified Colfax CA, Ashland OR, Bend OR, Boise ID, Reno NV, as the possible choices. I need to know about taxes, schools, jobs, community, and other important issues. I would like to get out of California. My wife has family in the Sacramento Area, so she doesn't want to get to far away. Any suggestions, help would be appreciated

Look into Carson Vally Nevada such towns as Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville. Every thing you need and good schools, NV taxes, 30 min to Tahoe, 30 minutes to Reno. Good Fishing.
