In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Final Exam
As promised, today we will be having the final exam of the semester. Below I have linked 40 past WFTDs. The exam is simple. You must use 5 of the words, in however many sentences you like, that somehow relate to the news. The minimum is 5, and for using the minimum, you will get an average grade of a C. Use more, your grade goes up. Use less, it goes down. Fail to turn in your exam, and I will submit your name to Principal Rob for a counseling session.

Good Morning Class. Welcome to School!
It's not one newsletter, it's dozens. You should read "US" "People" and "Entertainment Weekly" cover to cover each week and watch all of the Jules Asner spots on E!

Here is my homework:
While the lamestream media has promulgated its repeated reports of the "Decline" in retail sales this Christmas season, the reality is sales were pretty much at record levels, just at a lower rate of GROWTH from last year than expected.
Too busy to be imcommoded by peons from the royal family, President Bush has sent a message he is not interested in a visit from Prince Charles at this time.
Displaying its froward sense of morality, MTV considers the promotion of destructive behavior to be a good Public Service Ad
Nobody here in Dallas has accused Jerry Jones of being sapient, but at least he was smart enough to finally fire Campo, and he didn't waste any time to hire Parcells as the new Cowboys Head Coach. You Cowboy-haters can lament the reality that within two or three years the Cowboys will be back on top in the NFC East and contending for the Super Bowl Trophy.
While the state department has vituperated the murders of three American missionaries in Yemen, the CIA and US Special Forces should determine the responsible parties (and organizations) and extract revanche (another previous WFTD) with extreme prejudice.
If the clinton administration had not been so insouciant about the North Korean Nuclear Weapons program, (as Colin Powell pointed out to Stephi Stephanopolous), then we might not be facing the threat from that wing of the Axis of Evil that we face today.
Telling ya, it drives guys wild.
As for Toby skinnybutt... he's a raging vegan. I have no use for him either. He "bulked up" (not) for spiderman by eating tofu burgers. Then he proceded to let spiderman get ruined... UGGGGG
