Why do you suppose the North Koreans chose Bill (former clinton energy secretary) Richardson to talk to? Do you suppose they know that he knows what technology they and the chinese got from our nuclear labs?

Yes, they know he has been a willing traitor for their acquisition of nuke "secrets," and has then lied repeatedly to Congress on his own (and their) behalf. They want to remind him that they know.... they are in the blackmail business.

He was UN Ambasador for a while. That is the only US Official who speaks to the North Koreans. Our UN Ambasadors are the only American politicians they know.

They are so outta touch I doubt they realize he isn't the right party and is distrusted by everyone in congress. They have no understanding of elections and probably think his being Gov. puts him close to the administration.

And he never sold out to them, he sold out to the Chinese. They can't afford to buy a newspaper, much less an expensive politician.
