That was her problem .. I found out why she was ignoring me .. she couldn't hear me .. she fail the hearing test BIG TIME

She had an operation last year to put plugs in her ears, plus her tonsils and adenoids (sp?) taken out. She goes back every 3 months for a check up

Well the one plug fell out like it was suppose to .. but the other ear that still has the plug has a huge infection and then he wanted a hearing test done, then we had to wait for that,which she did poorly in and then had to wait for the doctor again after that .. he put her on antibiotics and ear drops and we go back in 3 weeks for another checkup and hearing test.

The other specialist is out because he is on a committe working with Rendal to keep the doctors from going on strike .. so Dana's doctor is now covering for him which is why it took so long.

Mike is do to have his operation in 2 weeks .. that is if the doctors don't walk out ..

As mom always says .. there's never a dull moment

The doctors went on strike in Israel for several months and the death rate decreased dramatically.

I feel for you. Katie had near continuous ear problems whe she was younger. Now the hearing is fine, but she's hard of listening...

Well Dana is hard of listening also ..

Dana's problem is she doesn't tell me there is a problem and I have to watch her carefully .. and the fact she normally ignores everyone doesn't make it easier to tell if there is a problem or not.

Good job on getting the diagnosis for Dana: Mrs.L had the same problem as a kid - instead of being goofy, she simply couldn't hear was going on around her. Best wishes on a speedy healing.
