Good morning! Story in the Indianapolis paper this morning about 500 Guardsmen called up to go to an undisclosed location (and I presume it isn't Cheney's cave) and they range in age from an 18-year old to a 59-year old Viet Nam vet. They are trained for combat, not a support group.

Prayers for all our memn and women in uniform this day, and especially for those going overseas.

My ten hopes for 2003 and my promises to myself for the new year are:

1. I hope for peace in 2003

2. I pray for health in 2003

3. I will try not to let my liberal coworkers upset me this year.

4. I'll try to be less selfcentered and more self giving.

5. I'll go to more freeps in DC.

6. LOOSE WEIGHT!

7. Pray harder for my country nad for the President and his family and cabinet.

8. Pray harder for my family and friends.

9. Get on a budget and stick to it so I can buy a new computer and maybe a DVD player.

10. Thank God every day I wake up in 2003.

That'll be the hardest part for me.

Another resolution will be for me to learn how to spell, LOL!

LOL! I didn't even notice the misspelling. I saw the WEIGHT part and thought that I really needed to do the same thing.

Budget is also on my list. I think I waste too much money on gimcracks and geegaws. So I am on a real tight budget until I can manage to save some.
