According to him, our country is paranoid about the threats and dangers we face!!!!
Guess he missed the fact that we WERE attacked about 18 months ago....
Starting to pay attention to the news again, and the troop deployments......
Son #1 leaves tomorrow, then the rest of our company, and we leave for Indiana.

Not a good morning here. I had to rush our cat to the vet. He has a urinary blockage. Sheesh!!! It happened so quickly. I clean the litter box once a day...everything appeared normal. Today I noticed he was trying but couldn't. If it was not caught as soon it could have been fatal. He may need to be catherized. :-(
We feed all our cats special urinary cat food and yet it this still happens. This is the second time this has happened to him and one of our other male cats had the same problem years ago. That one needed an operation to widen the pass through.
I know..more than you need to know. :-)

Got Bob Woodward's hit piece for Christmas. Truly wasn't something I would have spent money on myself, but now that I have it I will read the book, to see how the other half thinks (well - I know how they think, it just does me good to confirm that every once in a while).
Also got bunches of new duds. Always love getting new things to wear. Lots of that this year. :))
And a tome on weather prediction. Cool book (at least from my perspective - ;^).
