Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
We are still trying to dig out from under our Nor'easter here.
We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

That's a cool recipe, eh :)
I have another one for breakfast casserole.....I made it Monday, and young son finsihed it up this AM, LOL.
We've had a great week with him.
The day after he arrived, he recieved a request to show more of his work to yet another company.....this one in LA.
He has a 'manager/headhunter' now who is helping him find job openings.
He added to his portfolio, and created some new stuff and we mailed it out yesterday, Priority Mail!
Here's hoping!..(& praying!)
Today, he sat me down for an oil portrait.
He painted one a few years ago, but hubbybear wanted an updated one.
This time I felt dramatic, and wore black with a black silky shawl around my sholders....:)
Maybe I can post it when he's through :)
And thankfully, daughter just called.....she & her hubby just made it back from Atlanta safely!
They drove, and said the traffic was AWFUL!!

I'm watching L&O also while Bit is doing geek stuff.
I know what daughter means about the traffic Guennie....when we were coming down this afternoon, the northbound traffic on the NJ Turnpike was at a standstill...for about 5 exits.

LOL! Isn't networking fun?
I went through my bags to make sure I had everything packed, and found out I had forgotten my softball glove. That would have been a problem... ;>)

The wireless speaker thingies work with stereos/cd/radio components ,too? Sometimes I want to listen to music...watch Fox and FReep all at the same time.

You can hook the wireless speakers to anything with a jack; I have an adapter which came with the speakers that is hooked into the VCR, and that is what Nita uses. The speakers can be plugged into the wall or you can use D batteries...;-)

I want to thank you too Nita. I appreciate you getting us up and going.

I envy your handyman and technical skills. I'm feeling proud of myself because I attached our new headboard to the frame and installed a fluorescent light above the washer and dryer, all with the help of our new "Lady's Tool Kit."

Oh sheesh! Nebraska lost AGAIN! If that entire state ever wants to have anything to be proud of again, they'd better find a replacement for Frank Solich. That guy is NOT getting the job done.
He lost as many games this year than Tom Osborne lost in, I think, any 3 consecutive years.

With everything going on in Korea, I can't help but think of Mr. Ye. He was a tough 65 year old guy that helped us unload trucks every other day. He could work me into the ground. He is a really nice guy that genuinely likes Americans and thanks them for helping to liberate his country.
I worry about Mr. Ye, and all of the other wonerful South Koreans that I didn't get to meet in my 2 weeks over there.

But Mr. M., look who beat them, OLE MISS (thats for Mississippi), Eli Manning and Co. such sweet music to my ears. Now, will he go pro? Farve retire? GB? Think another MS boy can carry the water for GB? I say he goes pro and soon, very soon.
Good night everyone, just something to think about.
