What! Christina Applegate is a brunette?!?
To: lodwick
Didn't she play the ditzhead daughter, Kelly, on Married with Children? She must have been a natural for the part.

Yes - held them by their wings. Little buggers were really indignant about it.

That's what I thought. Didn't hear a peep for eight years and I guess last year wouldn't have been as effective with 9/11 and all.
The thing that really creeps me out about these types like Burke is they sat totally silent during the clintoon regime. I completely share your feeling that if a lefty tried to tell me how things should be I could become uncharacteristically violent.

You again!

Is it wrong to wish I was Barney the dog?
U.S. President George W. Bush (news - web sites) waves to the press while holding Barney the dog on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, December 21, 2002. Bush will spend the Christmas holiday in Camp David, Maryland. With the Iraq crisis intensifying, President Bush called off a planned trip to Africa next month to focus on his looming decision whether to go to war to disarm Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)'s regime. Applegate is featured on the front wearing little else but red and green mittens, with the motto, "Fur: Get Me Not."That is just about as disgusting as Planned Parenthood's "Choice on Earth" card. Both mock the very idea of Christmas!

Greetings and Happy Holidays to all of you. Just delivered the 38th tin, box or plate of cookies this AM. Only three more batches to bake. They'll wait. Wish I could but all of you on the list...
.Am going to put together a recipe book of favorite recipes after the holidays ( more time then).
Will pass some on and/or take suggestions. Currently use or alternate over 30 recipes Make about 25 batches. BTW do any of you have a simple but good peanut butter fudge or divinity recipe?

Good morning. I'm off to early Mass then want to finish up the wrapping thing. Still have the youngest Son to shop with and for. Will do that tomorrow. He finished his classes on Thursday and got home Friday morning.
When the great frosting caper, with the Grandbabies, was completed, I had frosting in my hair, but the kids were all smiles.

Gran, my greatest Christmas memories were of me with my Gram making cookies in her kitchen. They'll remember and cherish that time!

We had so much fun with my son, when young, that my son now brings his friends (ages 23-37) over to frost and bake the sugar cookies.......They're still fun....Can't wait for the grandkids.
Hope you took some pictures......Enjoy your precious memories. Merry Christmas!
