BILL Clinton took pity on his former vice president Monday night. At a private Christmas party at Man Ray for his White House staffers, Clinton urged the faithful to "keep in touch with Al Gore" in the wake of his decision not to run in 2004. While Clinton claimed to be disappointed with Gore's choice, he said he "respected" his decision, putting him in the company of relieved Democrats who feared Gore would not survive a rematch with President Bush. Sen. Hillary Clinton introduced her hubby before his speech at Man Ray, where Bill's assistant Doug Band celebrated his birthday in October.Page Six
