The Hobbit Hole III - Journey to the Cross-roads!

Posted on 12/17/2002 7:32:02 AM PST by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Journey to the Cross-roads

The Two Towers Edition

Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)

Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

She looks like she's wondering if she has lint in her navel.

the one I recall seeing was a vertical (not tilted) image and a little lighter in contrast/brightness

Yeah, I just grabbed the image off of the DVD and didn't do any editing or cleaning up. All of the frames were tilted somewhat though. Good luck in your search!

What did you think of my ebay page? I wrote it, but my brother posted it. Note the patriotic feel with the flag?

Tell me what the counter says...mine doesn't seem to be working.

Oh, there's the counter...it's working now and I saw that 5 people had visited...including my brother and I...I started to get excited but then I realized it was probably just folks from the Hole.

Hello! Good afternoon. I had to go shopping for birthday presents for my sisters, who have birthdays within ten days of each other. Dinner soon, but I'll be around off and on this evening.

Well... I got one sister a book and the other one a large Two Towers poster. It was the coffee with my grandmother that was really painful.

OH Jedi!! Those puppies are adorable!! And I take it from your choice of nomme de plumes that the little one is rather fiesty and mischievous. CUTE CUTE!! what kind of dogs are they?? And how big do they get??? I am debating whether or not to get a dog. Cats are bit easier to contain because of litter boxes...am not keen on the idea of having to constantly open and shut the door so the dog can do business.

Anyway, congratulations, Jedi! They look like they will make for a very happy family!

Hi Jen! I went to sunday school and church this morning. Ran almost slap into the guy that I got into the dispute with, and he said good morning to me before he could stop himself. I said good morning back, but I admit, it was a tad frosty.

Otherwise, I did ok, no arguements or anyone coming to blows! LOL Everyone in my class seemed happy to see us.

Worship was very emotional, a kind of rememberance service for unborn individuals killed by abortion and a message of healing for those who have this in their past, both men and women.

Hi 2J! Those puppies are cute! We went to church too, of course, had a wonderful sermon as usual. We also sang "All Creatures of Our God and King" which was a very nice song. I liked it a lot, especially the bits about the sun and moon and other inanimate forces praising God.

Going to dinner - see you soon!
