But mostly I don't bother to argue with people with neither intelect nor education

Reminds me of the saying: Don't try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time, and annoys the pig.

The unfortunate, dark side of home ownership.

Hint: A lot of construction crews will overestimate their ability to get there.....it's very common practice. It would be unusual for them to get there when they say they will. I hope they are an unusual crew for your sake.

On the other hand, if this is one of the few problems with the home, you are blessed.

I know you're not feeling that way right now.....but it's still true.

I have engaged in some pretty decent conversations with some pretty well educated and intelligent "Creationists". The scientist from Pennsylvania, Michael Behe, is far from dumb.

The "Democrat" thing to do is to call people dumb who disagree with you.

Your comment that geology is based on evolution is dumb though....So..... call me a Democrat!

Begalla is a good choice.

BJ is not far off, though. He really wielded power very poorly and never accomplished much beyond being a weasily, snivvelly, whiny, deceitful, empire shattering whisperer that could get elected.

Grima.

I'd say, oh, about what? IQ equal to room temperature?

If he could shoot his IQ on the golf course, Tiger Woods would be in a lot of trouble.

And he is one of the "smart" ones.

In the Petroleum industry, the geology used is closely based on evolutionary theory.

Yes, but whatever they have degrees in, they are not doing "science".

Once you posit "Inteligent design" it becomes a magic formula to replace every "I don't know" and every " I can't figure out the protocols for an experiment or raise the money for it"or "It's too much work to figure out". There is no possible way to say that one thing is Intelligent design, and another is simply temporary ignorance of underlying principals.

I don't care whether inteligent design is "True" or not. If it is accepted as true then the scientific method and science itself will soon go out the window.

No need for all the work and study. "God did it" is the answer to any possible question.
In fact experimenting to see if you can find another answer becomes sacrilidge once "intelligent design" has been accepted as the cause. To experiment is to mock God

Evolution is full of "I don't know - so I'll make up somethings" rather than honest "I don't knows"

No.

Evolution, and all science, is full of I don't know -- but this is the closest current working aproximation. Scientists study the facts and, if they can't figure out the right answer, propose hypotheses to be tested, challenged and improved. Inteligent design theorists, propose an end all answer. God did it and there is nothing else to say and never will be.

God did it all... that's what makes it all so wonderful and complicated and fascinating to study and learn... the more we learn about creation, the more we learn about our awesome Creator and His purpose for everything - including each of us.

Scientists study the facts and, if they can't figure out the right answer, propose hypotheses to be tested, challenged and improved.

The problem is when hypotheses become stale and unproven and are assumed to be facts.
