We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks in New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Now, the cleanup. More than 1.5 million people remain without electricity in North Carolina this morning.
Algore visited China recently, and it is believed he was paid to speak at a communist government-linked think tank. People could pay 50,000 yuan to get their picture taken with Algore, or 100,000 yuan to buy conference sponsorship packages.
Algore claims he was paid by BusinessWeek to attend the event: "I can tell you specifically our contract says DnmStrategies for BusinessWeek," says Jano Cabrera, spokesman for Algore, as reported by Drudge.
Drudge also reports that Nancy Sheed, spokeswoman for BusinessWeek, says: "This was not an official BusinessWeek-sponsored event. We did not pay any of the participants in the event. We did not pay any of the speakers at the event. BusinessWeek was also not aware that anybody had been invited on behalf of BusinessWeek to speak at the event."
Algore also attended an informal lunch on November 18 with approximately 30 members of the Asia society, sponsored by Hong Kong chairman Mr. Chan. Chan was an independent director of ENRON. Algore knew of Chan's relationship with ENRON because a source said he "told him before we went into the lunch."
Algore may be the master of reinvention, but he does not seem to have reinvented his pechant for Chinese money.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Understood. It never ceases to amaze me that people are so quick to fall "overboard" on an issue. Again, I am sorry thta you are being flamed or criticized.

A link to a humorous item, seems PMSNBC's ratings are, and I quote,
almost unmeasurable...just like their popularity amongst viewers. This begs the question as to why the leftists aren't watching!? If they were, would not the ratings of PMSNBC's premier show be higher than a .3 share? Har-de-har-har!

Hi back! Only heard bits of Rush--parade of people coming into the office, causing listenus interruptus. Annoying but unavoidable. How's the weather over there? Bitter cold, I hate it when it's too cold to go outside for a smoke break!

Myself, I don't think that Rumsfeld and the President are talking about ambiguous information. I think they have cast-iron proof, and I DO think we will see the Adlai Stevenson moment in the UN.
Those NRO guys spend too much time talking to other reporters, sometimes. That's what I think, anyway.

he was holding onto the steering wheel so tight that I believe he left fingerprints through his gloves! And this is why I do not like to drive in this area when it is snowing.

Honest, I didn't think it was so important to post three times

LOL on the MSNBC ratings. I was channel surfing late last night and came across Hardball. Chris Matthews was having a hissy fit over teen abstinence from sex, his guests were Ann Coulter and Dr Drew, the sex doctor (actually, Dr Drew is full of common sense about the subject of sex.) Anyway, Ann Coulter was in full throttle, telling Chris Matthews that part of the reason for the drop in the birthrate amongst teens was welfare reform, the teen mothers were not guaranteed anymore that they could have babies and stay home, and expect the government to pay them. Matthews face was red and he was really worried about all the babies of teenage girls that would starve because of the meanness of the Republicans stance on welfare. I then turned the channel.
Matthews is out of date, and Phil Donahue is really out of it. And MSNBC doesn't even seem to realize it.

Just wishing everyone a safe, warm weekend. Prayers for all.

I don't know the reason for falling car sales, but I bought the car last year. I didn't really have a choice on the timing, next time I will plan better. I'm going to talk to someone to see if I can pay for a couple of months in advance, so that the taxes and registration doesn't come due until Feb, 2004. That would be a good thing for my budget.
And I have been thinking about your statments about some of the intolerance shown by some posters on FR. I don't have a solution either, I just avoid the threads. To me, nuking all of the Middle East doesn't solve anything, and shooting illegals doesn't solve anything, as some of those posters advocate.

You ain't kiddin, dearie. That Matthhews guy's nutso, who he gets any respect from his comrades in media is beyond my comprehension!

Oh yes, it's cold, but no real snow in the forecast for several days, thank goodness! Nice that you can use the computer at work :-)

Yes, it's nice to see you here.
Molly, SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!
To: Miss Marple
Agree with you, Jane. Well, NRO publishes a variety of viewpoints....some I'm in sinc with...others not.
To: Holding Our Breath
Molly, SNOW! SNOW! SNOW!NO! NO! NO! LOL!
To: Molly Pitcher
aw shucks!

10-4 on the work computer. I did predict it, was hoping it would have been a little earlier, but beggars can't be
too choosy. ;)
HOB, thanks. And no to the order of snow, it's just too early for it, even if Christmas is just a couple weeks away. Bitter cold like we have suffered is nasty stuff. Maybe winter's just getting it out of the system early or something...

Mr HOB and I really need to move to an area where there is lots of snow. We get to apoint when it becomes a longing to have snow.
But, to set the proper mood, we'd need a real, working fireplace! LOL!!
If for some reason I miss you before the holidays - hope you have a great one!
