No hostages, as far as I remember, although they were threatened and intimidated.
Regarding JFK...I don't much care about the details, but rather WHY this is coming out now, seeing as how the Rats have such few icons left.

Morning Lysie. Thanks for starting the thread today.
An easy commute for me, once I got all the ice scraped off. That took over 5 minutes just to get the windows passable.
Busy morning to get ready for my two classes as I spent much of the weekend goofing off with my brother who's visiting from Colorado.

I was checking on g6 too. lysie, he wasn't on early this a.m. on the other thread either.
Leaving soon for our last full practice before our singing group starts its Christmas programs.
I think we'll have a good rehearsal today, and I'm sure our director hopes so! LOL!

Good morning everyone, and thank you, thread starter lysie for getting us off to such a great beginning this morning. Molly and lysie, I appreciate all the great links you've found for us. My, so much interesting news as well as chuckles this morning on the thread. Rivendell, you're already on a roll today. You must be a morning person.
gulfcoast6, you had me worried after I read your comments yesterday about the pain you were having. I hope your legs are feeling better. Are d and gd back home now and did they have a good time?
Dog, maybe you'll hear from worker's comp today. I know you're going stir crazy. Joining with you in the grrrrrr's over the rat's games with our homeland security.
kassie, I hope your shoulder is feeling better by now. Is there any word on your mother-in-law and whether the cancer has spread?
kayak, thanks for the great job with the breakfast and graphics last week. You never fail to start my day off with a smile.
Prayers for all in need of them, including FRiends we haven't heard from for awhile but who are always close in our hearts.

I'm getting a lot of work done, huh?
My nephew (grand nephew, actually) is still in the hospital, but quite active and perky. The steroid shots they give him really do something to make him a little hyper. Of course, being 3 years old he doesn't need any extra help.
I'm a little concerned about our own daughter #3. She's had a bad cough for several days and I've been hearing about a lot of bronchial problems going around. Mrs. Mulliner plans to take her to the doctor today to get checked out.
She was so cute yesterday. She is just short of her 7th birthday, but yesterday was figuring out multiplication with a little help from her sister. She figured out all her "squares" up to 8 x 8. She would concentrate really hard and figure it all in her head, counting by 8's 8 times presumably, and come up with the right answer.
I asked her if she's bored in school and she said, "Only at recess." What an answer!
To: Mr. Mulliner
"Only at recess."LOL! You know...that brought back memories....I loved recess, but by the 6th grade, it WAS boring...your daughter is younger than that tho.
Hope she's better soon!
To: Lorena
And good morning to you, too Lorena! Got to run now...

"
My kook really missed me this morning...he slept on my chest the whole entire night..and was crying when I left for work this morning."
