"Did you disappear into the night?" Well, kinda. I was invited to my boss's for supper. I just got home.
"Prowling around so you can keep up with Val?"
Good heavens, no! A boy toy isn't my style. I like my men with a few more miles on them. Just kidding Val. But I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't wait 8-10 years for my next date. Hehehe....
Cartoons? Like this?

Yeah, I'm still in gloat mode periodically.

Got a question for ya since I have really had a chance to check out the Homeland Security Bill .. I have been hearing stuff on the local talk radio that really has me concerned Like the mandatory shots and no one is liable if something goes wrong .. if you don't get the shot, they can take your home and should your children need to be quarinteen(sp) the parents are barred from staying with there children
Your kids and you have always had to have mandatory shots. They can't enrole in school without imunization records. The parts in the homeland bill are in case we are attacked with something like smallpox. It is to make sure no one screws around arguing and going to court. Either get immunized or go directly to jail. In cases of extreme infectious diseases like smallpox, yellow fever, etc. parents have always been prevented from staying with their children. This just reinforces things that have always been true.
There are a lot of horrible things in the Homeland Defense Bill, but I don't think this is one of them. This is just the real loony right that doesn't believe in vaccination or much of anything else trying to cause pannic.
They have limited drug companies liabilities from vaccines, because that is the only way to get them made. About ten years ago every drug company stopped making vaccines for Tetanus and other childhood necessities because they couldn't make enough profit to cover potential lawsuits from the rare alergic reactions. The government had to limit their liability in order to get vaccines back into production. After all, they are making them to government recipees. If liability is not limited, no drug company will make smallpox or Anthrax vaccine.

Lieberman and McCain are leading the fight against the Homeland Defense Bill. That tells me most of what I need to know.

Thanks Swervie, I hadn't really had a chance to read about the HLS Bill yesterday and only heard what was being dicussed on the radio. And the guy was really hot about it all
I have no problem getting the vaccine for me or my family, that wasn't the problem I had .. but the manditory jail if a person refused was my fear ... What if we get a liberal whack job like Hillary gets in office .. I don't much like the thought of what she might do with this new law. Kind of like other parts that are in this bill. I understand we are at war and certain things need to be done. But some of these parts if in the hands of a liberal and be really abused big time. They have a histroy
