Jiang Zemin may have stepped down as President of China, but he still retains control of that Nation's military.
Director Tom Ridge is expected to be nominated as the first Secretary of Homeland Security.
And Britain's Medical Officer (akin to our Surgeon General) announced that his country will begin an education campaign to inform British subjects how to respond to a biological or chemical attack.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

That was NOT a smart move on Denny's part. I can almost promise you it will be blown up HUGE and plastered all over the locker room. It wouldn't surprise me to see large banners with the quote in the stands that day. There's nothing quite like that kind of remark to really rile up a team ..... and the fans!

He did NOT do the Vikings any favors, that's for sure. If news of this gets around town (and I'm working on it, I'm working on it:) it's going to be huge............

My stomach still lurches when I hear his voice on Fox. Miss Marple has made me feel a little better by pointing out that some of the new libs transfering in don't last long. I intend to JUMP on the first really bad thing he says with a complaint to Fox.
I mostly lurk here, but I am aware of your good lab report recently. I know the feeling of waiting for that kind of report and was so very happy for your good results. Best of luck to you!

I'm watching a Discovery Channel feature about Desert Storm #1. The only thing the leadership didn't seem ready for was the high number of POWs. I'm sure we won't make that mistake twice.
I'm going to plan on feeding and guarding a large number of prisoners. LOL!

Dennis Green just isn't a class act.
Good news tonight is that San Francisco lost. That still gives the Packers one of the best records in the NFC.
You also know that they will have something to prove next week in Tampa. This could prove to be a good thing in the end.
BTW... the Vikings still suck!

I've arrived safely in Sin City. :) Arrived earlier this afternoon, checked my email, and then went to dinner at the gourmet buffet at the Bellagio. Dinner was very good, one of the better buffets I've been to. I'm going to sign off, do some reading, and go to bed. Talk to you all tomorrow.
