I was sceptical of the foundation as it took some high heat. Turns out everyone else (insurance, contractor, etc) was on the same page.....althought there were no cracks - the blocks were removed - one or two levels and will be redone.

I slept a little late this morning, that 6 mile walk yesterday wore me out. Going to rest today to see if some of these sore muscles can feel better.

I see a problem coming with KING Kofi Annan, OUR President W made him go his way and put the heat on the UN, Kofi has got to do something to get back at W. Look for trouble soon between the two but the only thing about it, W don't back up to no one.

Good morning. The sun is trying to come out, but not having too much luck. It's cool, about 58 degrees with a NW wind of 12 knots. Methinks we will only reach 60 today. I might have to put on a sweater.

T'is sad about Snowbunny. One thing is for sure, if you're a fraud at FR, somebody will find it out. The good thing is that I have met many FReepers, and they are what they say they are. No barbara streisand, just good ol' down to earth fine people. The kind of people who you can call friend.

Daschle's more annoying than ever, isn't he GC? You'd think a major loss at the polls would have an effect on his rhetoric, but he is addicted to bad-mouthing the president.

We're not going to our church today because my brother is here from Colorado. Also my wife and youngest daughter are sick and wouldn't feel up to making the long drive so will probably stay home.

My niece's little 3-year-old boy is in the hospital with pneumonia. We visited him yesterday and he seemed to be doing pretty good. It was hard to keep him in his little oxygen tent, but he had a lot of toys in there.
