My stomach is growling as I type this. Thanks for the hints. I always forget to cook casseroles for my family. I'm going to cook these next week. =)
To: Aggie Mama
I almost forgot. As I was looking in the casserole recipe book, it mentioned freezing eggs. The whites are fine, hard cooked yolks are fine also, just make sure the yolks are diced. Scrambled eggs should be fine.

Hello, Hello. I've been out of town for the past day and a half. Today, I attended Preschool with my oldest Grandson. What fun!

Thanks for the link. I honestly think there is a good likelihood that McCain's health is a bigger issue than people make it. If I were him, I would be concerned about a recurrence of the melanoma. His lesion was in a difficult area - difficult in that there are so many vital structures there. While, of course, a recurrence wouldn't have to be in the same area, a recurrence is very possible. We certainly don't know if there were affected cells in the neck lymph nodes - just that they stripped them out - perhaps in case it had spread microscopically. Melanoma is a particularly invasive cancer.
McCain strikes me as a very egomaniacal type of guy. He certainly could change parties and provide the dems an opportunity in '04. If his health were more secure, he might even surely do it. I don't know. Will be interesting to see what happens.

I'll have to ask dittomom about McCain's health and the scuttlebutt about McCain's health. He is a meglomaniac, but I thought that the animosity between President Bush and McCain wasn't so bad anymore. I could be wrong. And I totally agree that if his health were better, he'd probably not be a Republican, but an Independent. I can't see him being a Democrat. Dittomom, your thoughts?

good lord, Ventura gets his own show on MSNBC??? They are truly beyond belief.
How does this clown rate his own show and Ann Coulter not get hers? If PMSNBC wanted to get people tuned in, they'd call Ann to do a debate format show. Not an O'Reilly or Matthews yelling all the time, but a true debate format of Ann vs whoever for the hour. A real just the facts, ma'am show where issues were argued intelligently and coherently.
PMSNBC, get a freakin' clue, why doncha?

Wouldn't you have thought that PIAPS could have gone to Elizabeth Arden and then to a fantastic designer for a GLAMOUR mag fete? True to her socialist core, she wears the party mantra, literally.
To: BigWaveBetty
"Good Grief! Are the dems raiding nursing homes now for candidates?!"Annie Coulter answer's your question: "It was such a blow-out that over on CBS, Dan Rather had to keep retelling viewers about Sen. Lautenberg's victory in New Jersey. (Good thing Election Day finally came without another Democrat realizing the voters were on to him, or the Democrats might have had to unwrap Tutankhamen.)" -- Ann Coulter

re: chimneysweepman - What a maroon!

When I saw the photo of that very elegantly dressed, grey-haired lady, I said out loud, "Finally, a beautifully dressed woman!"
To: Endeavor
That Ann is such a stitch. I'll just be she lays in bed and night dreaming this stuff up to rub into the Dems. I read an article of hers just a bit ago,,,, the cat kept looking at me because I was laughing so hard.
To: Iowa Granny
Ann is truly a gift. She makes me laugh out loud - that's a pretty rare occurance.

A followup on a story I posted the other day:
Former president Bill Clinton is coming to Temple Beth Avodah next month. The temple is hosting a speech by the former president next month and is selling seats at $100 a pop. The synagogue landed Clinton through one of its members, who is paying Clinton's appearance fee. [What a putz!] The unnamed member signed Clinton through a New York booking agency and all proceeds from the talk will go to Beth Avodah.
Secret Service agents have been prepping the synagogue for Clinton's arrival, scheduled for Monday Dec. 9. Tickets, available by calling the temple at 617-527-0045, were made available this week. They will not be sold on the day of the event.

I wouldn't go hear what that stinky zipper has to say if someone paid me $1000 to go. I just can't imagine they are going to sell very many tickets.

Thank you for posting the recipes! I have always wanted the one for Tator Tot Casserole. My friend made it once for a party and it was so yummy!

So sorry to read about your grandfather. What irony that he would pass away on Veteran's day. Please give my sympathy to your entire family.
