We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
THE SENATE HAS BEEN LIBERATED!!!
THE DASHCLEAN CAPTIVITY HAS COME TO AN END!!!
In the pre-game analysis yesterday, the media pundits, the media talking heads, the leftist prognasticators who are all visionary gave the following pronouncements:
The demoflops would either take control of the House or reduce the GOP majority.
The demoflops would hold on to, or increase, their majority in the Senate.
The demoflops would take a majority of the state houses.
The demoflops would win in the state of Florida.
Now that the game has been played, and the contest settled, it is time to look at the scoreboard.
The headline in today's Washington Pravda says it all:
1. House - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has at least maintained their current majority. The current status is:
GOP - 226
Criminal Party - 204
Can't Decide Which Party - 1
There are still four races that have not been decided. These are:
CO 07 - GOP leading 48-46% with 88% counted
LA 05 - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidates with 66% of the vote
NM 01 - GOP losing 49-51% with 98% counted
TX 23 - GOP losing 47-52% with 74% counted
2. Senate - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has gained absolute majority. The widow Carnahan has lost her race, so applying Missouri law, Daschle is no longer the Illigitimate Majority Leader, and resumes his correct title of Minority Leader.
LATE BREAKING - MINNESOTA CALLED FOR COLEMAN!
GOP - 51
Criminal Party - 46
Can't Decide Which Party - 1
There are still two races left to call:
Louisiana - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidate with 51% of the vote South Dakota - Thune(R) leads by 949 votes with 99% counted
3. Governors - demoflops FAILED. The GOP retains a majority of the state houses.
GOP - 26
Criminal Party - 19
Can't Decide Which Party - 0
There are still five races to decide:
AL - Incumbent demoflop leads by 3,139 with 100% counted. Likely recount.
AZ - GOP losing 44-47% with 99% counted. Likely recount.
OK - GOP losing by 6,357 votes. Likely recount.
OR - GOP losing 47-48% with 76% counted.
VT - GOP leading 45-42% (13% for 8 minor candidates) with 96% counted.
The demoflops hoped to legitimize Carnahan. They failed.
The demoflops hoped to win in Minnesota with Mondale. They failed.
The demoflops hoped to cashier Jeb Bush in Florida. They failed. JEB WINS BY SEVEN POINTS! NO RECOUNTS, HANGING CHADS, OR MISSING ELECTRONS HERE!!
The demoflops hoped the voters in Northern Virginia and Tidewater Virginia would willingly vote to raise their own taxes. They failed - on both counts.
The demoflops hoped to make the election a referendum that would denounce the President. The President picked up the gauntlet. THE DEMOFLOPS FAILED IN EVERY CATEGORY POSSIBLE!
IT IS A COMPLETE DEFEAT FOR THE CRIMINAL PARTY.
Tomorrow - we get down to business. But...
TODAY - WE RELISH OUR FULL VICTORY.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Prayers needed for my candidate, Mr. Bob Beauprez......
My states JUNIOR 78 year old Senator can't be to happy being in the MINORITY PARTY
Gee to think he gave up those bingo games at the senior center to sit on the back bench in the MINORITY PARTY....:-)
This little debate on cspan..is that a usual thing or is it cspan's way of getting the dems message out?
lysie, you mean the press conference with the party heads?
I think it's a normal post-election post mortem.....sorta like 2 baseball managers after the World Series, willing to take media questions.
It 's pretty interesting and I just loved Racicots response to the CFR question.
2000 elections SHANNON County Bush 1667 Gore 252
2002 congressional elections Johnson 2856 Thune 248
Something looks fishy there to me!"
"Worse night he ever had.."
I've had to pay attention to some other things this p.m.....
2002 congressional elections Johnson 2856 Thune 248
Something looks fishy there to me!"
Dog - that is hardly what is fishy. I've been in a math mode today, so let me run some more number by you.
Shannon county population = 12,466 [Source: US 2000 Census]
People under 18 = 5,647 [Source: US 2000 Census - derived: 45.3% of total pop.]
People of voting age = 6,819
YET(!!!) - (See post #127, this thread) - supposedly Shannon county has 6,990 voters. (On that thread, they used a population base of 12,793 for the county, not sure where they got those numbers, they are not the Census figures.)
This would mean there
hold on here--
ARE MORE REGISTERED VOTERS IN SHANNON COUNTY THAN PEOPLE OF VOTING AGE!!!!
(Even using the higher population figure quoted on that thread, that would mean all but EIGHT people in the county of voting age were registered to vote. Considering the statistical probabilily of felons, non-citizens, etc., among 6,900 folks, it would seem there would be more than eight who couldn't qualify to vote, for one reason or another.)
SOMETHING ISN'T MESHING WITH THE NUMBERS!!!
Molly..... Thune DID NOT CONCEDE......will let the process take over.....recount Nov 25th..
Has anyone been checking into Jackson, Todd, Ziebach, Dewey, and Corson counties? Those are also South Dakota areas wholly contained on various Sioux Nation and Cheyenne reservations.
