AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 654) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 5, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/05/2002 4:10:06 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

ELECTION DAY!! DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE!!

In 2000, it was decided that Democrats should vote on Wednesday. Not enought took advantage of that offer, so this year, to cut down on lines in polling places, something new will be tried.

Through special arrangement with certain folks in Canada - who, because of the extent of their magnanimity wish to remain nameless - it is now possible to dedicate special polling places just for the use of Democrats.

Democrats, think of this as your own special voting district. Republicans are to vote in the United States - no Republicans whatsover will be allowed to vote in Canada today.

On the other hand, Democrats should take the opportunity to drive north of the border and vote there. No lines - gone will be the complaints of having to wait to vote. No polling monitors - you can vote as many times as you want. You will be able to come home refreshed with the knowledge that you were able to cast thousands, even tens of thousands of votes for your candidate - and no one will so much as hassle you.

So don't delay. The north beckons. If you are a Democrat, hop in your car, drive north, cross the border, and vote. In fact, so good is this program, there are Republicans who will be more than glad - once they have cast their vote in America, because this special offer is not open to them - to drive you and other voting age (in other words, anyone who can recognize a crayon) members of your family (you will have to make your own arrangements to transport dead people) into Canada to your special polling places. (This offer, however, is only one way - you will have to make your own arrangements to return to America).

Democrats - Canada. That's where your vote should be.

[Good only on November 5, 2002. Not good with any other offer, and may not be exercised by Republicans. Offer applies to any definition of family that may be provided by a card carrying Democrat. For further details, see the back of your Rice Krispies box - they might be there. Certain other restrictions apply. No actual guarantee of voting ability is made or warranted. No ballots will be cast on behalf of the Democrat voter by the Republican. If, in fact, you are a Democrat, and you could not actually vote in Canada, complaints will be taken on November 4, 2002. No Canadians were harmed during the preparation of this offer.]

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Chris Cannon was one of the House Managers, wasn't he? They seem to be doing well tonight ...... Lindsay (the newly elected R Senator for SC) was one. Jane's new Rep was also one, I think (Buyer). Right now Gekas is ahead in PA, though I thought he was expected to lose.

In 2000, if I recall correctly, the House Managers took a beating.

I view this as a very good sign ..... hopefully (please, Lord!) the influence of x42 is waning rapidly.

Btw, if anyone noticed the younger of the two guys behind Liddy Dole during her speech, he's Pat McCrory, mayor of Charlotte. He might be someone to keep an eye on in the future.

CNN is griping about Cleland's loss in Georgia. "Who would have thought that a man who left three limbs on the battlefield of VietNam. But the White House targetted him..." Waaaah. Big whiners. Judy Woodruff: "this is another reason for Republicans to be happy so far this evening." Now they've switched to James Carville, et al. They're all depressed (Begala and Carville.) This is making me happy, bigtime.

LOL!! Maybe Paula and Judy should go take a spa-day together to help them get over all the stress they are going through tonight. The poor babies are so depressed. Judy just said, there was no way that anyone thought the Republicans could beat Cleland - I think she called Cleland a cripple or something.

OMG!!! James Carville has a trash can over his head on CNN. The forehead Begala just said its been a bad night for Democrats!!!! BWHWWHWHWHWAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!

We have 47 seats in the bank. Of the remaining -

Alaska - still voting, but the incumbent Stevens (R) should be safe.

Colorado - with 46% reporting, GOP Allard has 52% of the vote to Strickland's 44%.

Minnesota - with 7% reporting, GOP Coleman has 52% of the vote to Mondale's 45%.

Missouri - with 50% reporting, GOP Talent has 52% of the vote to Carnahan's 47%.

********************

Even South Dakota is reachable -

With 42% counted,

Thune is only 2,480 votes behind Johnson.

Good news from Wisconsin......Rep. Mark Green is winning handily, and in the governor's race,Scott McCallum (he was Tommy Thompson's Lieutenant Governor and took over the office when Tommy was named HHS SEC) is ahead, although the race has not been called........

Bob Novak asked CARVILE if he felt responsible for the Democrat losses because he so viciously attacked the Republicans and went on and on about how the election was stolen from Gore! CARVILE answered that that was the most assinine analysis he'd ever heard!!!! CARVILE is having a major meltdown!!!

I'm going nuts right now. FR is sooooo slow ..... and I read on another thread that if you set your preferences to read only 20 posts per page it would go faster. As slow as it is, by the time I refresh and the new page appears y'all have gone on to the next 20 posts.

CNN is reporting Talent ahead 52% to 47% with 52% of the votes in. Also earliest reports from Minnesota (probably meaningless) have Coleman ahead.

We are seeing something very special happening tonight. Praise the Lord!!!
