Yep, the bad guys didn't have to worry for eight years during the nineties. Now that President Bush is in office, they have to be very worried that they will be hunted down and killed, no matter how long it takes.

You misunderstand what I meant. I meant that UOx42 had a direct hand in choosing candidates for their so-called 'critical' races, and it looks like they are gonna lose every one of them.

They chose McCall outright. They encouraged Reno, then backed McBride. The one they may get is the Texas Senate seat but I don't think so.....

I have no illusions about what the country thinks about Clinton, but what I meant was that by his meddling in the Dem party operations, he is screwing up big-time.

Husband still on diet, and doing well, having lost about 10-12 #s. Almost there.:-))

He's about 3 1/2 weeks into it.

Some slacks which were unwearable are much better, now, but still a little too snug around the waist....he's using those as a guide on when to stop, it looks like.

I was delighted to see the rather heavy turnout where I vote, here in Central Florida.

Before I go in, I already have a 'guide' ready & can have my ballot finished & double checked in quick time!!

Hubbybear & I have 3 sources of reliable info. that we always check with before we go vote......Christian Coalition, Right to Life, and a local group who do a great job of vetting the candidates in our county.

We check their sources.......and finalize our ballot guide.

At our machines, we have those color in the circle types.
Quite simple....quite easy....if you follow directions.

It clearly spells out to ANYONE...ie, DEMOCRATS....that one totallly blackens the circle.....

..and clearly states just a line or dot on the circle will negate the vote!!!

Forgot to add .....there was a steady stream of folks coming in to vote......senior citizens, young marrieds, singles, etc.

All the machines were full, except maybe one or two.

It's a gorgeous day here in Central Florida.....breezy, no rain.

Husband is also looking at effect on his b.p. and cholesterol readings to measure results...almost forgot that.:-)) The interesting thing is that while I presented the idea to him and prodded him initially, he's taken over responsibility for it, thank goodness!!
