I know what you mean....I used to live on left coast and had to 'adjust' my thinking on everything because it is usually given as Eastern time. Gee, do you suppose that the powers that be in this country think the world revolves around the East?

A couple of weeks ago we went to Memphis for a convention ..... had to change our watches from EDT to CDT. We left to come home on the day that we went back to standard time, crossing the time zone late on Saturday afternoon. Knowing that we were going to have to change our watches back later that night, I just left mine alone. Hubby changed his ..... and wanted the car clock changed. So if someone had swooped down and asked us what time it was, we would have had to ask if they wanted EST or EDT or CDT. Glad we didn't have any critical time constraints that evening.

Of course you are welcome here. I am sorry I got a bit too abrasive on that other thread (or mean, to use the vernacular). Anyway, you are quite welcome to stop here whenever you wish, as far as I am concerned.
