AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 653) [Remember the Trade Center!!]

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our Freedom, die in vain!!

Yesterday, a 7.9 magnitude quake struck Alaska, south of Fairbanks. The quake was felt as far away as New Orleans. Only one injury has been reported. The Alaska Pipeline is intact, but shut down this morning. Some support structures are broken about 50 miles south of Delta. Damage exists on the Alaska Highway. There is also some damage to the Parks Highway, as shown in the following photo:

Zogby has Jeb Bush with a 15-point lead going into the last day before the election.

Mondale still leads Coleman, but only by 5 percentage points.

Carnahan and Talent are tied in the Zogby poll, both at 46%.

The New York Times is conceding the Republicans will likely make gains in the House.

And authorities are investigating whether a shooting in Clinton, Maryland, was related to the sniper. While previously not believing that to be the case as it didn't fit the MO - the victim was shot several times at close range, but still managed to survive, authorities are taking another look because a laptop computer owned by the victim was among the items recovered from the sniper's car.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning Chairman and ALL you wonderful people.

kassie, prayers for your mother-in-law.

Good morning,Molly. How is your Hubby doing? We had carbs for the weekend. I guess my liking has changed. Although, I have to admit. The first bite of pizza was unbelieveably good.

Some last minute surprises in Arkansas:

Arkansas Senate candidate Mark Pryor last night admitted hiring an immigrant housekeeper, and Republicans demanded he "tell the people of Arkansas" whether the woman was an illegal alien.

AND FLORIDA IS GETTING REVVED UP...

Already, authorities in the Orlando area are investigating tens of thousands of absentee ballots that were sent out to Hispanic voters. And this week, Gov Bush turned down a request from Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) Supervisor of Elections Miriam Oliphant to keep polls open later on Election Day.

Oliphant also asked in a letter to Secretary of State Jim Smith to allow the county to use provisional paper ballots as an emergency backup if lines grow too long.

THIS IS TOO RICH FOR WORDS! --

Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe blamed the grieving family of the late Sen. Paul Wellstone on Sunday for turning last Tuesday night's memorial service for the dead senator into a campaign rally, and even suggested it was their fault that Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott was booed during the ceremony.

While Janet Reno is fighting to keep watchdog groups from monitoring voting in Miami-Dade County, signs of illegal election fraud schemes are already cropping up in Central Florida.

Acting on dozens of complaints that a vote fraud scheme using the names of Hispanics to get absentee ballots in their names without their knowledge is under way, Orange-Osceola State Attorney Lawson Lamar has sent investigators to watch as Orange County Elections Supervisor Bill Cowles started opening absentee ballot envelopes that have already arrived at his office.
