No, Jesus knew everyone would not be friends. He knew there will always be conflict. He knows man has a jealous, bloodthirsty, manipulative enemy who wears many disguises as he lures millions into the trap of self and mutual destruction on earth. Jesus assures us that in the end, the enemy loses, and Jesus and His followers are triumphant for eternity. The victory is already won, but the battle must still be fought.

I think none of us have a lot of patience anymore. 9/11 made a lot of folks less tolerant of foolishness.

Gavin (son #2) will be renogiating his Army contract on Tuesday. I want the Army College Fund included, and he wants some vague wording clarified.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household.

He may have known that but it didn't stop him from trying to spread and make peace
that is why I said I didn't think his motto was Kill the Bastards ..

Sorry for the double (triple!) posts last night. Our home(ly) computer crashed recently and the little propeller heads from the office installed a new hard drive and loaded Windows XP and there are still bugs in it. I was certain it was the &%*¿¡$ computer. Not clever enough to figure out wazzz happenin.

Unless muslim "leaders" of this weird religion start condemning the violence, the whole muslim world is going to be set upon. The screwy left can rant all they want about a "minority" problem, the fact is increasingly obvious to me that we are beginning another holy war, except that this time it will not be restricted...it will be global.
To: ValerieUSA
Are you proposing?
To: Cuttnhorse; Mo1
Holy war has been declared on us.
Islam is the one faith that has consistently gained its power by the sword and kept it by the sword.
I have no respect for it. I may not agree with buddhism, Taoism, Shinto, etc. But they are to be respected.
Ishmael? Blech!

I'm not so sweet all the time You and Swervie have had your...er...ah...

To: Cuttnhorse
Since you're baching...thought I'd make you a bit jealous.
My son and I are about to go to the Michigan-Iowa football game. Not south american football either.....
I think Iowa has a great chance to beat us. Should be an awesome game though.
