The elections in Iraq are over, and with 100% of the precincts counted, Saddam has won another term as President with 100% of the vote. Not even the former Soviet Union could boast that performance.
United Airlines is in serious financial trouble, and appears headed for bankruptcy.
And, in the UK, there has been a sharp rise in support for a war against Iraq after the attacks on Bali.

When it comes to any and all aspects of the war on terrorism, I gotta admit my senior senator has been a stand-up guy.
Alternate theory: they DO have a composite and they are trying to match it up with photos on visa applications, drivers' license photos, etc. The longer they can delay releasing the composite, the better chance they can track the guy down.

dittomom, I don't know...Oct. '03 is the 30th anniversary of the so-called Saturday night massacre...Nixon tried to fire the special prosecutor...he had trouble getting it done and I think it was Robert Bork who finally made the call, and of course got inot trouble about it later on.
Oct. of '73 - yes. We were in Seoul at the time.
