AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 634) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | October 16, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 10/16/2002 4:20:05 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not live in fear!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The elections in Iraq are over, and with 100% of the precincts counted, Saddam has won another term as President with 100% of the vote. Not even the former Soviet Union could boast that performance.

United Airlines is in serious financial trouble, and appears headed for bankruptcy.

And, in the UK, there has been a sharp rise in support for a war against Iraq after the attacks on Bali.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

That recipe looks really good.

I'm going to make some spinach salad in a bit; with strawberries and almonds, and a sweet/sour dressing. Yummy.

Daughter seems to be handling things better now ..... that usually happens with time. The night of the shooting she was quite upset, understandably.

I hope they are right, and it's just some maniac, not tied into anything else.

My mom said their weather man said they had flurries on Monday, but she didn't see any. She is North Central KS.

Here is the AK-74.....note they make one with a folding stock...which would mean it could be hidden by a shooter under a trench coat....as he calmly walked away from a shooting.

Look at all the media shots on TV. They were long shots taken from off the actual site with a zoom lens or from a chopper.

It would not have been possible to take a shot of the last crime scene from a chopper, other than an aerial of the Seven Corners neighborhood.

But more on point - if there were such an RO (it would, of course, be difficult to prove as I don't work for the Fairfax county court system), that would be news in and of itself. There have been no such reports in any of the local news outlets.

But for sake of argument, let's presume the existence of such an order. It would be a very tiny problem to overcome - "would you like to talk about this? We can't talk here, but if you would like to take a walk to the other side of the Seven Corners intersection (you are now in Falls Church - a jurisdiction independent from Fairfax county) we can discuss this." Problem solved.

Also - in a related vein - we are talking about the same set of folks that last Friday couldn't even get their act together to keep road block locations out of the media. I'm not sure I find it plausible we can keep a gaggle of witnesses very near a major Virginia jurisdictional boundary quiet.

And I haven't even got to the whole notion of how would you even provide service to the witnesses? (I suppose you could muzzle the press - but again there would be some mention of that fact in the media, and there has been none.)

I had fruit in a salad for the first time a few months ago...it is actually quite tasty.

"Kens" makes this salad dressing I JUST LOVE, its a basil balsamic vinegrette and it is TO DIE FOR with fruit in the salad

Sharon was the most jolly that I have eer seen him, and said:

Never has Israel had such a friend as President Bush.

He said lots more complimentary suff, but Sheperd Smith said that this was really something ! Imagined it would get the atention of both sides of the aisle. HA!

Also, President Bush said that the doctrine of harboring terrorists ws still in effect, that war was a last resort, that the UN was being given time because he is a patient man (although his mother and wife might disagree) and that if the UN didn't act to disarm Saddam, we would lead a coalition which would.

I probably forgot some stuff, but this is the gist of it. Also, the President had that "cat who swallowed a canary" look. Coupled with Sharon's jolly demeanor, I think something is up.

I copied a salad from our favorite restaurant. Bibb lettuce, bleu cheese, walnuts, mandarin oranges, and poppyseed dressing. The combination of flavors is really good.

That sounds really good, except I'll pass on the oranges. I like oranges, just not in my salads.
