In a departure from the normal characteristics of the shootings in the Washington area, a woman was gunned down by a single bullet at a Home Depot store located at Seven Corners in Falls Church, VA. If this is the sniper, it would be the first attack inside the Beltway.
Police found a white van in Baltimore with a high-power rifle, .223 ammunition, a sniper manual, and a sign on the front dashboard "Jihad in America."
In Florida, polling data shows Gov. Bush with the support of 48%, and McBride at 45%, with three weeks left till the election.

If so, the guy had to have been one heck of a crack shot, as there are a lot of pillars all over the place.
OTOH - at the time of the shooting, there wasn't a whole lot of customer activity going on, probably, as it was starting to get late.

Follow me here, Dog. Martha Stewart is not a big fish. They wouldn't let him plea to lesser charges to get Martha (although I agree her goose is cooked). Perhaps they are after someone BIGGER than Waksal(sp).
Let me think now, who might be involved in a conspiracy that works for a bank and kept company with the KNOWN PERJURER, X42?

Dog - I've been to this particular Home Depot on several occassions (it's not the closest, but there have been times we've needed something while going to Little Saigon as well same time for Oriental groceries). Little Saigon is right across the street, pretty much. (Across US 50 and a smaller local road, but still, right there - within a few hundred feet.) Little Saigon would be an incredibly target rich environment. :(( There is a lot of activity going on there.
Anyway - back to the subject. The parking lot is a two-tiered structure. One at ground level, and another tier elevated. The shot he must have taken would have been akin to pocketing a billiard ball between several other balls on the table, without hitting a one. (I am discounting his having the straight shot down an parking aisle - would have been too obvious.)
BTW - and this is really unnerving - our whole family, except for Miss Chairman who was camping, was at Little Saigon just the day before.
Jane I think this is to get Martha. They have boxed her in....guy above her on the food chain pleads guilty.....guy below her pleads guilty......Martha is the target....someone in the Justice Dept. has decided Ms. Stewart will become the poster child for the scandals.
Someone just upped the ante.
There was one report on Fox a little while ago.....that he got within 30 feet of her...when he pulled the trigger.
Could this have been an assassination?
Chair ~~~ I have an idea of how you feel about having been in that vicinity. I don't know if you saw my post the other day but daughter-child and her 2 children were at the service station that was the site of the Manassas shooting just 45 minutes before it happened. Really shook her up! And us!
Neets ~~~ this meeting today is just a regular quarterly meeting. They are a nuisance. Our regional manager is a heckuva nice guy (and a conservative) but is a real pompous jerk when it comes to his job. He's no help at all to us but requires unnecessary reports and paperwork because he thinks it makes him look good. I'm sure you know the type. As long as we're talking politics, I like him fine ..... but we'd be just as happy if he forgot about these stupid meetings that just waste our time.
Chair ...this one worries me.....he went inside the beltway. A few high value targets are inside the beltway...if you get my drift.
