In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
The enemy has been engaged, and Saddam just pooped his pants! As we continue our battle, remember why we are fighting. The Eagle is awake and demanding retribution. As our President said, We will not negotiate!. We will not forget. Just like we Did not forget to repay those that perpetrated the Attack On Pearl Harbor....

I'm sure certain of the more demented members of Congress might approve of
this news, but I'm pressed to think of any authentic human who would.
To: xsmommy
Either that, or he's still around simply because he's so old, he has fossilized.

I'll try not to post any graphic representations of the Hildebeast while you're here.
I understand how offensive such pics can be. 8-)

The Nobel committee had a congress
And little
Jimmy did impress
With fearless deeds done
For peace to all and one
It's intentions that lead to his success.

The best way to get many current members of Congress to see the egress is for us to
stick together. And I'm resisting the temptation to make a further joke.

It would appear that this is a tacit endorsement of Homosexuality
in what the awards committee said was a criticism of current U.S. policy and "a kick in the leg" to those following the same line.
So, basically they are saying they gave it to him for sticking it up the @$$ of a Republican president.

Hmmm. Kind of gives new meaning to the expression "it would take an act of congress to do that."

That list of "No" voters reminds me of the Mos Eisley Space Port from the original Star Wars movie: "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
To: E Rocc
Indeed it can not be a coincedence that given the treatment of the taxpayers, that word carries those meanings.
