It is noce work, but lets move on from the cross stitching, and tell me, Once you have a suitable frame, and you want to get it on, what is your preferred method for being mounted ?

The usual suspects on the campus left accuse him of misunderstanding the difference between being anti-Israel and anti-Semitic. But Summers doesn't buy that argument, nor does he limit his concerns to issues of divestment. He criticizes student fund-raising events for groups that support terrorism, which enjoy "at least modest success and very little criticism." Summers took this opportunity at a church service at Harvard to give a little eleemosynary advice to the residents there. Basically he said to get off their high horse, for their behavior and support has shown them to be racists most foul.
At Harvard, finally some responsibility

It was a lot of work!!! As was the mate to it:

Let me tell you - those trees around the wolf and bear - were an absolute BEAR to deal with - I think I used 7 different shades of green.

impressive. framing and mounting costs a fortune. they used to have a do it yourself place, but no more. my framer will have a 25% off special every once in awhile and i save stuff up to take all at once.

My gosh ....
Do ya ever wonder WHY the protester claims "Women are not for decoration"...
I suspect her favorite color is jealously green ... with a hint of self-pity thrown in.
Now, any bets about how many dates (with male companions!) she's been invited to in her life?

was it a kit? or a design leaflet and you had to provide the fibers? they have so many cool fibers these days, beautiful colors and different kinds of textures, silks and wools etc. i had a plastic bag housing the fibers to go with the beehive needlepoint design that i posted here, and dang if i didn't hear xspup romping with something and it was the bag of fibers with him shaking it back and forth like it was a rag. i screamed my guts out when i saw that!

Yes I really really did - not that one, that's the cover of the pattern and their suggestion for mounting.

I get all my framing supplies from the same place I get my patterns. A.C.Moore. Custom framing is WAAAAAAAAAAY too expensive. And I can get any type of frame, matting and the mounting board all in the same place. And nearly every week Moore's has a 40% off coupon in the paper, and since I get 3 papers, I get 3 coupons!!!!

we just got an ACMoore, it is very similar to Michael's, which we also have. now do you use the tape to secure it to the mounting board, or do you lace it on? i am not so good at the mounting stuff, so the bigger/more expensive pieces i tend to take to the framer.
