Ok, So what's the deal with "5", I have a general idea of what it is but i want specifics. You see it everywhere and in all forms, what the heck is "5"?, other than the number after 4, before 6. Did Freepers start this trend?

I've no desire to be banned from FR, or even giving up contributing to it, but I can't stay silent about the "plague" that's going down, and of all the alternative forums I know of -- libertypost is the most like FR, or at least like FR was, and has the least anti-freeperism to it.

In retrospect, I am glad I caught it. The libertines have been getting to me for a long time and to unload via this little tiff was good for my attitude.

What amazed me is that they posted the so called secret FReep mail (about the 5) on LP and had a major blow out of LR as well. The 5 thing really stirred the bottom of the pot. They took it as a personal insult, which I did not anticipate.

Now they know what insulted feels like! LOL! I hope we learned something here.

This conversation as usual is going nowhere fast. This is the reason for the 5s. A few of us decided we had had enough and used the 5 with fantastic result IMHO.

I don't particularly like terminating a conversation this way, but it does warn my fellow fivers not to engage due to a waste of time.
