In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
animadversion \an-uh-mad-VUR-zhun\, noun:
1. Harsh criticism or disapproval.
2. Remarks by way of criticism and usually of censure; adverse criticism; reproof; blame.
Etymology: Animadversion is from Latin animadversio, animadversion-, from animadversus, past participle of animadverto, animadvertere, to turn the mind toward, from animus, mind, spirit + adverto, advertere, to turn toward, from ad, toward + verto, vertere, to turn.

Nah, I was just over at the Opus thread....

I was gone for a week. OPH is gone. That was an enormous surprise. Roebucks came back, and left. Darth is now gone (but that is no surprise to me).
Are there any others?
Say what?
LOL !! A classic......
It would have a commercial application if we still had all those microwave antennas all over the country instead of using fibre optics. A point source of interferrence is just a commercial equivalent of a jammer.
Interestingly enough, the critical portion of the code will fit on one page. It is a VERY elegant recursive call, if I do say so myself.
