God bless us all. Each, and every one.

All these pictures will just confuse some people.
Was feeling rather crook (I bet you know some Aussie, don't you?) when I went to bed and a couple of hours later woke up with chills. My very loving wife got me some Tylenol and I shivered through the next hour or so. Since then I haven't stopped sweating which, I know, is good, but I really just want to sleep and can't.
Prayers for a swift recovery.I'm right there with you.
I spent most of the night dreaming about cooking in a resturant kitchen. I'm making hash browns now for breakfast burritos. Hello 0530 CST.

Morning Kay.
It got downright chilly in the house last night. I am sure it dropped easily into the 30's, but we haven't turned on the heat yet. I think once we do that, we've resigned ourself that summer will be just a memory.
Spent yesterday afternoon, and early evening with some of the family at a campsite. Great to see everyone again.
The sad news is that my brother's step-son, who is 15, found his father dead of a heart attack last week. He's working through it, as is my brother's family. (His father was 44.)We pray for them.
It reminds us all that there are no tomorrows that are for sure. We take each day that the good Lord gives us, and make the best of each moment.
More senseless acts of random kindness.

Up again bright and early. Gotta usher the 7:30 morning Mass, so I thought I'd say hello before getting ready.
Grits... last time I had those I was in Oklahoma. (85) They certainly are an accquired taste. (I know... I know... those damned Yankees don't know a good meal when they see one. *Grins*)
Lots of geese, and ducks starting to come through. The cooler weather from up north will really get them flying now.
Saw a nice 8 pointer on the way home from school on Friday. Their coats are really starting to get brown. I sure enjoy this time of year.
Good corn crop, but we'll be sparse on apples this year because of the heat. Making apple pies mmight become a little bit more expensive.
It's funny. Two weeks in Korea, and I now view fried rice as a breakfast staple food item. Sheesh. How quickly we adapt.

Thanks for your message.
I often wonder how people can get by without faith.
One great advantage of the Christian religion is that it brings the great principle of the law of nature and notions - Love your neighbor as yourself, and do to others as you would that others should do to you, - to the knowledge, belief, and veneration of the whole people. Children, servants, women, and men, are all professors in the science of public and private morality. No other institution for education, no kind of political discipline, could diffuse this kind of neccessary information, so universally among all ranks and descriptions of citizens. The duties and rights of the man and the citizen are thus taught from early infancy to every creature. The sanctions of a future life are thus added to the observance of civil and political, as well as domestic and private duties. Prudence, justice, temperance, and fortitude, are thus taught to be the means and conditions of future as well as present happiness.

I always thought that was Rice Krispies.
Will say an Ave for you and Trill.
Take care of yourself.
See everybody later.
