We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Reaction in Congress to the President's draft resolution was wholly along partisan lines. Republicans hailed the resolution and said it should be adopted. Demonflops, notwithstanding the language was based largely on a former resolution sponsored by IML Daschle, said changes needed to be made. Such changes would include, if the illegitimate chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senator Levin, had his way, requiring the President to get UN authorization for an attack before starting combat.
US intelligence agenices are trying to track down a missing Sudanese Air Force pilot who, it is said, is planning to hijack an aircraft and fly it into the White House.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed below 8,000 yesterday.
And the White House is furious over a German official's remark comparing President Bush to former German leader Adolf Hitler.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
We were under a severe thunderstorm warning for a while, but it didn't hit us directly.
Molly, are you getting hit now?
Answers for Anti-Israeli, anti-Jewish Propaganda
I accidentally left the window open in the dining room, though (which faces west), so I've got a wet window sill and carpet. :o\
At least I remembered to get the flag in before the rain started!
It seems to me that the Torch is not very good at public relations. Once the story broke a smart public relations person would have evey single document released. He would have copied them all and sent them to all the major media.
Torch could have announced that the media had every document and not a one of them showed he had done wrong. When the media said they showed otherwise, the Torch could have spent big bucks on TV disputing what they proved. Instead his spokespeople have to try to justify why he wouldn't make papers public. That is a dumb move. He could be saying if the documents didn't prove he had done anything illegal. He could ask "Would I have sent them to the media at my own expense if they shows I was a crook?" He could have argued that is did not mean is, and what did not mean what. Lots of democrats would have believed him.
Had he done so, by this time he would be coming back in the polls and the media would be rooting for him. His mantra that I released everything would have had a chance of working. But by trying to keep the media from seeing papers he only produces stories that imply he has lots to hide and is a real crook. He is likley a real crook. But he is not a very good one.
The torch watched Bill and Hillary for 8 years... but he did not learn anything from them. For that we can be most greatful.
Yes, indeed.....we can be thankful for that. I don't remember the numbers (maybe they're linked right here at ATRW), but I know that he is significantly down in the polls as of today.
Looks like the Torch may soon be doused.
Scary stuff.
Glad she & her family are okay.
I'm glad to hear you guys are having a good time.
It's a "trick trap," a logic bomb. The point is to demonstrate the absurdity of all other notions presented before it. My daughter successfully pointed out that, regardless of the circumstances that may pertain, a given outcome was going to occur, allowing the patent unfairness to become self-evident. Since afirmative action is presented as a "fair and just" solution, demonstrating its unfairness documents its absurdity.
Put into mathematical termsn, the specific logic problem presented by girl child had two independent variables, each with two possible states, providing a total of four possible outcomes. Girl child rolled through two, which should have had two different outcomes, yet was already presented with answers that suggested only one - a logical absurdity. The third round was the "kill box" - regardless of the answer provided by the teacher, it would have to contradict one of the earlier two, since there was already an inconsistency on the second round.
The teacher knew this, so abandoned the field of combat in the arena of ideas.
Young people like yours, Snowtrill & John's, lysie's, and ohioWfan's give me a lot of hope for the future (and I'm sure there are others who are not coming to mind right now). I know there are at least some kids out there whose eyes have been opened to the liberal garbage being dumped on them.
Thanks!
This is another suporting fact in my thesis that Bush is doing a divide an conquer. I think it is his unstated goal to change the entire middle east and to bring permanent peace by installing regimes that are American Clients. Bush started with a very small list of bad guys. He took one down and added Iraq to the list. Remember he addes Iraq while Afghanistan was still standing but going down. Now he is adding Saudi as Iraq prepares to fall. As Bush puts one bad nation on the ropes he adds other bad nation to the bad nation list. We bought Pakistan. They are now our client state. We made Afghanistan our client state. We will likely make Iraq and its new government our client state.
Guess what Iraq has? .... as much oil as Saudi. We win the people of Iraq by installing a government that belongs to us, Then we allow them to pump all the oil they can pump. We don't ask the UN or anybody. Can you say take your OPEC and shove it? UN HUH. Cheap oil means a good US economy It also means very happy Iraqi citizens basking in their US produced prosperity. It means unhappy poor and angry millitant Saudi muslims.
Once Iraq is down that leaves Iran and Saudi to be taken down. When it is over our Client states will include Iraq, Iran, Saudi, Afghanistan, Palistine and Pakistan. There will be peace in the middle east and US client states will control a lot of the worlds oil.
Can you hear Dubya say Kiss my @SS so the Germans can understand it? Thought you could.
The United States under Dubya bush has strode accross the world stage with wide steps and real purpose. We asked for Saudi help with Afghanistan. They said no can do... wouldn't be prudent. Now we can return the favor. It is a Dubya trait. He asks and says little if they turn him down .Later he pays back when they don't expect it. It ain't nice to cross Dubya Bush or mother nature.
The message may not be lost. Cross the USA with Bush in control and you will be paid back. This is indeed significant. It is once again a major change in US policy.
Perhaps our new foreign policy can be summerized as "Mess with us and pay the price." If that be it, it will in long term and short term eliminate a lot of nations "messing with us."
An exeptional analysis of this complex situation, and the straight shooting man in charge. Thank you, Tator!
It bears repeating.......Cross the USA with Bush in control and you will be paid back. This is indeed significant. It is once again a major change in US policy.
Back in the saddle again, and firmly holding the reins!

Yes, Mozie, I'm back.
I've been awake for the longest Friday of my life. It's lasted over 36 hours at this point. In fact, the plane left Inchon at 7:05 PM Friday the 20th, and arrived at DFW at about 6:35 PM Friday the 20th. My brain hurts. Somewhere in there, I think I lost 13 hours. Or gained 13 hours. Or something.
