We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The UN is likely to grant Iraq a full year under an "inspection" regime before it is willing to say Iraq is "non compliant" and seek other courses of action.
British newspapers are concerned the UN will become irrelevent if the US acts unilaterally.
The Sun reports former PM Major as saying the United States would respond to an Iraqi use of WMDs by conducting an above-ground nuclear test in the Baghdad area.
And President Bush is sending to Congress a resolution that will authorize him to act soon with military force, notwithstanding the UN concerns, in the event Saddam does not quickly relinquish his WMDs.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Coming back to Lambeau 2-1 would be fine. Coming back 1-2 would be........close to a disaster.
Can you believe this weather??? When do we get to have autumn??? Again today a dew point of 72. Yuck!
First of all, my dad losved to grow tomatoes, and his nickname was Bobby Tomato! How spooky is that?
At the musical Tuesday night, my granddaughter went into a long explanation about how she liked Larry Boy and how she HATED the Giant Pickle! My sisters were totally befuddled, because they didn't know about VeggieTales. It was hilarious!
Stay in training! Exercise and eat right! I want a large crowd of his contemporaries there when his coffin passes by. We can be quite smug!
High on Saturday is going to be 61. YEE-HAH!
I am so ready for Autumn. Doesn't it officially start on Monday?
Whoops... gotta run. Daughter's band is having a fund raiser with Krispy Kremes, and they (Kripy Kremes) just arrived from Milwaukee. Never have had one, so...
Thank goodness its not Lent!
Well... Gotta run!
Actually, I was thinking along the lines of ribald hysterical knee-slapping laughter... ;-)
TGTIF (Thank God Tomorrow is Friday)! By shortly after 11 am, I'll be loading my students into our van and headed out of PC-city for Franklin and the site of the Battle of Franklin where we'll learn a little history and sample each other's international foods.
For those interested in the Battle of Franklin, here is a very good site.
Still a work in progress........
I'll believe it when I see it.:(
Have a Krispy Kreme for me.:)
A big red-faced oops on my part. I meant to say You are a great teacher!
NY, you really gave me a shock with that sentence. I had to reread it and put it in context. Then, I was really in a blue funk because when I first looked at it, I thought you were talking about our demoncrat representative, Ellen Tauscher, you know, the one whose little blue dress fit her in kindergarten, but is too small now ~~ just like the Constitution!
Too bad, I really was hoping it was her that was out for the season!!!
