We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The UN is likely to grant Iraq a full year under an "inspection" regime before it is willing to say Iraq is "non compliant" and seek other courses of action.
British newspapers are concerned the UN will become irrelevent if the US acts unilaterally.
The Sun reports former PM Major as saying the United States would respond to an Iraqi use of WMDs by conducting an above-ground nuclear test in the Baghdad area.
And President Bush is sending to Congress a resolution that will authorize him to act soon with military force, notwithstanding the UN concerns, in the event Saddam does not quickly relinquish his WMDs.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I'm in a real "I Hate Katie" mood today; because last night she was ALL OVER MSNBC and I nearly gave my self carpal tunnal from slamming the remote button every time I saw her perky mug.:(
The one where there is a tiny notice on page 8 of the NYT which says WJC, disgraced former President, passed away.
Then, through the streets of Little Rock, a small caravan containing a hearse and 2 cars wends its way slowly through the back streets, unnoticed by most.
On a street corner stands an old woman in a Bush/Cheney t-shirt, holding an American flag. As the hearse passes, she stands erect, nods, and smiles.
Then her daughter leads her to the car and takes her home. I am that woman.
I love thinking about that! Howlin said she would go with me. We are in training to outlive him!
Btw, your solution to my plant problem was perfect. We had just put thingies under the plants to keep the pots up off of the new deck. Since we have started watching for accumulated water, the plants are much happier ...... and we killed off a bunch of mosquito larvae, too. In view of the presence of West Nile virus around here, that is a good thing.
Also, the azaleas we had planted out front were not doing well at all. We were blaming it on the drought, though that was the one place we were splurging and continuing to water regularly. Then one day a technician for the company we now have coming to spray our yard for weeds, etc. came by ..... he took one look at the plants and told us we had lace bugs. We've sprayed them several times and the plants are looking much better ..... and are beginning to show some color for their fall blooming ....... :-)
You do live dangerously, don't you???

My daughter will probably wait in the car, though! Ha!
