These Christy Lane commercials on Fox news are just annoying. What's with the guy saying he put in his time in Viet Nam, but he wasn't the only soldier there. *DUH!* Whoever said he was the ONLY soldier there?

I don't do commercials period! I personally think the mute button is one of man's best inventions.

Just a drive by. Things are not good here...yesterday morning I let Yummie out to do his thing and something ( a dog from down the street which gets out comes up our way and dumps garbage cans) frightened Yummie. I have looked for 2 days only to find out today the the gardners up the street saw him but when they went into the yard of one of the customers, Yummie was frightened again and ran into the green belt where the horses and cattle are. The green belt is huge. I have not idea if I can find my cat but I am so distressed at this I could SCREAM. I just can't believe this has happened to YumYum. Keep your fingers crossed that I can find him soon...he needs his special food for his liver condition and the poor little thing must be so hungry by now. TTYL I am not good company now.

How was the truck ride?

The truck ride was last Tuesday. It was 11 1/2 hours. What a grind! Fairly uneventful - it was raining from sw Idaho to very near the Nevada/Oregon border. The seal between the passenger compartment and the cargo compartment was in need of maintenance, and my poor mom got dripped on. Other than that, just a long drive. All of the furniture and fine china and antique dishes made it without mishap. Mom dried out.

I've never had a red dress. I've always heard that redheads shouldn't wear red. I have had a couple of red T-shirts, but never bought a whole red dress.

It's a beautiful morning again. I tried to take butterfly pictures after I dropped Garrett off at school, but it's not warm enough for them to be out and about yet today.

The NEIC....we had a good rocker last night...I think it must have been the reported 6.4 quake in San Juan, Argentina which is just over the border from us.

About 3-hours earlier I mentioned to the wife that this is the longest time that we haven't felt a quake since we arrived here two years ago. We're still due.
