"Isn't it Daschel that's the toe sucker???" Nah, that would be Dick Morris. Tiny Tommy is just a TOad.

Speaking of child support, I had to take Daniel his shoes that he left here after this weekend.
It seems that this pair, that I bought for him, are the only pair he owns that fit, despite his mother getting $1100 a month for his child support...

I figured it was him because he's sooooo much closer to toes than the rest of us...

Dock her clothing allowance and take him shopping yourself.

More like time to roll the legal separation into a full divorce.

Thanks for that info Val...
You know, sometimes when we are up there, driving up towards the summit at the Jackson Visitor Center, I often am slightly frightened, looking up those steep slopes, and knowing that lots of those rocks on the road, have come tumbling down...I am always somewhat leary, that one of these days, one of those rocks is going to hit us...
But that does not prevent us from making the trip up there...I figure whats going to happen, will happen...but getting hit by rocks, whether climbing or just driving in your car, is always a real possibility...
I think we have decided not to go camping, but rather just go up to Mt. Rainier for the day, probably Sunday...
The weather here has been heavenly....70 degrees everyday, no rain(hooray, tho we need it badly), the skies are blue and clear....and this weather is expected to continue all week, through the weekend, and hopefully right into next week...its just a beautiful time here right now, with the leaves beginning to turn color, and mountains are on view, and the daytime temps are warm...

I wonder if the vine maples will be getting bright red on the mountain yet? They look so pretty in the fall.

Things may be really colorful up there by now...when we got up there in the summer, the spring flowers are in bloom up on the mountain....and when you go up there in early fall, often the colors are much more vivid up there, than down in the lower elevations...
Thats the advantage of the completely different environment up on the mountain, as opposed to down here in Olympia...heck, when we someimes go up there over Memorial Day, its warm in Olympia, and there is still a ton of snow to play in, up at the Jackson Visitor Center...
Its really like a whole other world up there...when we have spent the whole day up there, I always hate to leave...
A few years back, we went camping up there for a week...it was one of the best weeks ever...it was in the summer, so we got to go throughout the whole park, and got to go over to Sunrise Point, which is only open for two months of the year....a whole different view and perspective of the mountain from what you see up at Paradise...

We had a whole new crop of FReepers at our chapter meeting this past Saturday. It was very cool.

That's great SL - you're forming quite a gang up there.

The sun was too bright this morning, and I could not figure out how to speed up the shutter release on the camera - and of course I didn't have my manual, so most of my pictures were too bright. I deleted dozens. I hate that.

Not to worry - Prentice and Nully snagged all the chickie. ;-)

Yes, we are growing. Because of the distance factor we will probably end up breaking into 2 groups though, and meet as one group only occasionally. The majority are either in the central part of the state or the northwest, but we are talking 2-3 hours driving for some no matter what.
Check this out. We are one of the 3 states that is being used to try out Bush's "No Child Left Behind" program. Pulaskibush is looking over the "manual." Unbelieveable. I think our speaker told us it is something like 5,000 pages. This is the guidelines for teachers and school personel.

Oh good. Better they get the extra pounds than me!
To: ValerieUSA
Or maybe it was 3,000. I can't remember. It was a LOT though, especially given the incompetence level of so many public school teachers. Thankfully, at least 2 of our FReepers are teachers.
