Westerfield looks a little different now. California supreme court is fairly conservative, and they are reporting that this will not be, or very unlikely be, over turned. To the gallows for Westerfield .....
Looking into the face of the condemned was revealing, as his head started rocking back and forth as if by itself. A look of complete devastation.....

It's just as well that they use the gas chamber, what with California's power grid being problematic. ;-)

This in unfortunate. Not only is this evil freak not going to get his much deserved "prison justice," but the taxpayers are going to have to support him for at least a decade through countless costly appeals. Don't misunderstand, I'm all for the death penalty; I just don't like the way it's administered.
Take the sonovab/tch out to the back of the courthouse and hang him......with a short rope.

I bet he is thinking "Well, I guess I should have testified". Too late now, homeboy.

AMAZING:
a California jury reaches a just verdict for a murderer.

the average length of time on death row...16 years
A few years ago, Congress passed the Prison Litigation Reform Act and associated legislation which blocked endless, repetitive appeals for death penalty cases. It will still be years if he chooses to persude appellate remedies to their height, but that historical average of 16 years will be decreasing the future due to new statutory restrictions in this area. FYI.

Jeepers! He could get killed to death!

VERY glad to hear that.....because Judge Napalitano, on Fox News, just stated that actually the 16 years is wrong. It will be closer to 20 years!!!
So your info is MOST welcome!

Great verdict! The jury can rest assured that they did the right thing.
This sends a loud and clear message to all pedophiles: Keep your filthy hands off our children, or you will pay the ultimate price!

I'll bet the gift shops in town of Berkeley are sold out of candles already. Let the vigils begin.

Aint going to happen. He also saw the death photos up close...

But...but...there an obscure possibility that the police could have tampered with the evidence because it was marked with a blue pen and the police are known to use black pens.
Conclusion: he is innocent.
