I think I mentioned to you before...it's too bad Gabe isn't playing, especially if the reason is he doesn't like the coach. That is pretty common and he will be sorry he didn't play many years from now...especially if his younger brother is playing and doing well and enjoying it. Tell him if kids didn't play football every time they didn't like their coaches, there wouldn't be many highschool or college football teams in the country.

He may change his mind and want to play next year.

Even though he's just a sophomore, the coach told him he would be varsity if he turned out this year - and it's a huge team. Most boys would have been honored and thrilled...

I'm becoming a firm believer in the "can't teach an old dog new tricks" saying.

I get buy ok, but my grammer stinks. I can sit down and carry on a conversation in Spanish, but it is at about an 8th grade grammer level, (I might be giving myself a little too much credit here). I'm working on saying things correctly and trying to do a little writting too. It's a struggle.
