'Well, OK. On this hand I have breaking and entering and on this hand, I take the kid. Let's see, which is more prison time? The kid. I think I'll take the breaking and entering.'" An interesting quote that I'd never seen before. Thanks for bringing it up.

No, and No and No. Epilleptic! ROFL That is funny! How many polygamists were there in the Bible? Abraham, Jacob, David etc. By the way it takes revelation to perceive revelation. So lets agree to disagree on that one!

I read that the reason that he gave Richard up was because he was disgusted that Richard would abduct a teenage girl. It really ticked Remington off.And I have big bridge in San Francisco I'll sell you cheap.
To: varina davis
I've never read a credible source that said Ricci confessed to bank robbery.

"There is proof that she was in this particular place."
!!!
I'm still listening. I want to believe that you, or they, you and they, whoever, will find her!
To: varina davis
And I have big bridge in San Francisco I'll sell you cheap. Yes varina, convicts have a kind of ethics that they follow. In the article Remington was upset that LE would even question him about the abduction. Child molesters are the lowest form of criminal and are never put in the general population.

I told you all, Angela has trouble telling the same story twice! I've actually watched her change a story, from one interview to the next.
To: sandude
Ricci never confessed to this crime. So, we have Ricci not confessing to the alleged kidnapping, not confessing to the bank robbery and apparently LE has no evidence to link him to either case, except the word of a con trying to save his own hide. He did apparently admit taking some items of minimal value over a year ago when he worked at the smarts.
He fully cooperated with LE from day one, including polygraph, searches, etc. and still no forensic or other evidence.
Yet, almost the entire LE case was focused on this one man -- as far as the public knows -- while other potentially viable suspects walked.

"And note she really doesn't admit to it plainly"

tortured scenario...
Couldn't have described it better myself. I don't know where you got the May 15 date, Ricci towed it in on May 30 and took it back the same day after Angela called and found out the electronic fuel pump had been repaired and the car was drivable again. And I read an article today where Moul says he handed the keys to Richard when he picked it up on May 30 so maybe LE has told him not to discuss certain details (including the machette he saw Ricci wearing) with the media.
Again, the fact that they created the ruse taking the Jeep out in the middle of a repair cycle for some supposed emergency and parking it away from the trailer park, then turning it back in and later denying they ever had it along with the lost keys story makes it obvious to myself and LE it was part of a plan. Reminiscent of the caper where Ricci loaned his truck to a group of scumbags that ripped off a food bank with it. Ricci's sleazy vehicle shell game MO. Why would Angela have denied she called Moul then later said she did if she didn't have something to hide? Not to mention the fact Ricci refused to clear himself by explaining his activities in the Jeep or who gave him a lift home from the repair shop.

For reasons outside of the media accounts I believe quite strongly Ricci was involved. Your scenario is plausible to a point but you know who you are accusing with it.

'Well, OK. On this hand I have breaking and entering and on this hand, I take the kid. Let's see, which is more prison time? The kid. I think I'll take the breaking and entering.'"
Just like when he was in the alley and he had a choice. I have attempted breaking and entering on this hand, I shoot the cop. Let's see, which is more prison time? Shooting the cop. I think I'll take the attempted breaking and entering. But he didn't, he shot the cop and if they cop hadn't ducked just before the shot he would have gotten the full impact of the shotgun blast in his face.

The day will come when we will find out just how much LE had on Richard. He confessed to theft and burglary. After Remington gave him up the Feds investigated the bank robbery for an additional 2 or 3 weeks before going ahead with the charges. I'm sure that they had more than just Remington's word for it. What potentially viable suspect do you think is walking around? I don't know why I waste my time explaining the obvious to you over and over again. You will never accept that Ricci could have been involved. The police could have a rock solid case and you'd think he'd been framed. Why are you so enamored with this man anyway?

Very apt description. And I think Pomeroy's job is to help her with her lines.
To: Sherlock
Excellent point.

Perhaps one desperate act (ie, involvement in Elizabeth's kidnapping) led to another desperate act?Who knows? LE has given the public precious little info about Edmunds. Didn't he supposedly attend a prayer vigil or some function in connection with the Smarts? Maybe he knew that "trusted member of the community" no one likes to admit exists.
To: Sherlock
But he didn't, he shot the copHe shot BACK at the cop, after he was shot at. At least get the facts straight.
