Who was proven to be a "child molester?"
Most child abductions that are not over custody issues are sexual crimes. Kidnapping for ransom is rare these days. Maybe Remington was just a thinking kind of guy and figured the odds were it was a sex crime. Then again, maybe he figured that Rick's MO of stealing items out of children’s rooms was just a little bit creepy.
