3. It was discovered a man of Mideast descent has recently been conducting surveillance of the Washington Monument, the Pentagon, and other National capital region landmarks; US national security agencies are on alert.
[It sounds like, however, the man was not captured. We must do better on this.]

4. After the attack last year, two-thirds of American households gave to charity.
[Americans have always been a generous people.]

5. The worldwide manhunt, started by the FBI in the hours following last year’s attack, has proven to be fruitful – even if the big fish still remain outstanding.
[Keep at it. Keep tearing up their means to create mayhem.]
