I had friends from back east come visit me last summer. The numbering of the streets sure confused them for awhile. I too get lost when I go to other states...

Angela did know Rick while he worked for the Smart family, if her account is to be believed. She said Rick used to speak of the Smarts and the work he was doing for them, but of Ed primarily, and that he spoke of his respect for Ed.

They could have exchanged hello's and chit chat without Liz every thinking there could be hidden danger involved. Might have even exchange an e-mail or two.

Very unlikely on both accounts. From what we know there is very little time when Elizabeth would have been unsupervised. The Smarts have stated that she did not use the internet for communication purposes.

I was once told the reason is that every where else a city started and everyone just built around it literally and salt lake was planned out before started building at all. That made sense to me.

Yes, Brigham Young designed Salt Lake City, after the principles that Joseph Smith designed cities. But BY made the streets wider so that a team of oxen could turn around. I love to drive in the Avenues in SLC, just looking at all those old houses and mansions.

We had another bank robbery today A Wells Fargo. They are looking for a caucasin man. 5'8 to 5'10 brown hair----Sound familiar---Looks like riccis friends are back in action.

Yes, Sickler was of interest, but Sickler couldn't even wait till he was out of the yard to satisfy his bloodlust. Not enough self-restraint to have done this crime, IMO. This crime strikes me as much more planned. And I can't imagine Sickler being soft-spoken, as MK supposedly said the abductor of Elizabeth was.

Just watching the fox news while doing this and thats what they said. I also remember a while back a bank one was they had taken people out of their homes around two block area because they had said they left a bomb inside a box they brought in and left. I dont remember when just that it was by where my parents live. 9th east and 56th south.

no I dont think has anything to do with this but my point is we have allot of sex affenders running around free. They get a slap on the hand and sent home.

Did they rob the actual bank, or rob a Wells Fargo truck? Just curious.

Nope, not Ricci's friends Remington and Young, I guess.They're in jail.

I remember reading something about Ricci having implicated Remington as to some crime. Can anyone help refresh my memory as to this? Ricci and Remington were both being prosecuted by the feds for that Sandy bank robbery in November. Ricci would definitely have had a clear-cut chance to greatly reduce his sentence on that one, if he'd provided the fed police with substantial assistance about others involved in the crime. This makes me wonder if somehow Remington or Young might have wished Ricci dead.

Those things do happen among federal criminal defendants.
Of course, militating against this possibility here is the fact that Ricci seems to have been the most culpable in the Sandy bank robbery (he reportedly went in and waved the gun and all.) So if he was the main guy, seems the feds would have been trying to get Remington and Young to provide substantial assistance in their prosecution of Ricci--not the other way around.
