What is the most outrageous name you have ever heard? It must be a real person, and true.

This may be just an Irish surname (But didn't his mother think of possible abbreviations before giving him a Christian name?)
But I know a guy called Michael Hunt. Which is okay, except everyone calls him Mike!!!
You ever go into a place and ask out loud, 'Where's Mike Hunt?''
(I'm being 100% serious...it's embarrassing!!)

*LOL* That's funny.
Actually there was a young journalist in Ireland a couple of years back who used to work for 'The Star', and his name was Richard Balls.
For much the same reason, I often thought to myself, I hope his pals don't call him Dickie.
:-)

Absolutely serious! She had a sister named Chrystalline Wineglass, but I think Vaseline is weirder.

Speaking of initials, I also went to school with a guy called Ultan Ryan. (Ultan's an old Irish name).
Which was okay, except we were always called out in the school register by our first initial and second name. You'd be called like I was 'A. O'Connor' and I'd have to put up my hand to show I was in the class.
Can you imagine the snickers when he was called out as 'U. Ryan'?

The best I can think of is former football player Dick Butkus. I doubt anyone ever made fun of his name to his face though.

A girl who worked at a nearby Wendy's. I'll let y'all figure out the spelling. Pronunciation: Cli-toor-us.
A lady who gave birth at Charity Hospital in New Orleans named her newborn after the doctor who delivered her. His name is Claude, she's Claudonia.
Finally, on a delivery a few months ago, the mother scolded her daughter to move out of our way: "Suh-phillis, you leave those men alone!" I almost dropped her armoire.
