If he'da said "..but we deserved it." I would have stormed the stage ad tried to strangle the basturd.
I'm glad he didn't, way too much Police presence, they'd of probably had to stop me...
To: null and void
Did he speak in a high pitched whiny voice? I've heard a couple of them talk like that, and I think demonic possession must sound more whiney than gruff and deep.

Thanks from all of us - this inclusive, diverse, pc bs is doing to be the death of someone. I hope it's not us.
Your legacy grows bentmember.
To: lodwick
I like this one because it looks more like a fierce flag going to battle than a mourning flag.

Good morning, everyone. i have avoid watching the TV programming commemorating 9/11. Too maudlin and sentimental. However, when I opened my newspaper this morning, the front page, second page, back page and next to last page listed the victims by name - teeny tiny print. I started to cry. It came out of nowhere. I guess I've had a lot of anger for the past year, and it hasn't gone away. The tears weren't anger, but there they are...

No, more or less normal voice pitch, very slight arabic acccent.
I missed his intro, But is first mention of Islam, was something like "on that day Islam was hijacked, too". At that point he got a lovely view of the back of my head.
I didn't moon the worshiper of the moon god, but the thought was there.
I'm thinking of tracking him down and sending him a note:
So your religion was hijacked. Boo frickin' hoo.
When flight 93 was hijacked, the passengers were willing to risk their lives to take it back, I guess your religion is worth less to you than a frickin' airplane...
My, umm, roommate contented herself with making a cross with her fingers and reciting The Lord's Prayer throughout his speachification.

I understand. I couldn't cry for four months.

We strong humans sometimes think our emotions can be herded into appropriate little boxes where they belong - but they are leaky things and flow all over each other. Not even Zone Alarm can protect us from being animated and awash with our own humanity when we have resigned ourselves to being stoic pillars. It's a blessing.
To: null and void
You have an "umm" roommate?
