We seem to be forgetting the Net courtesy of including anyone we are discussing in the address line.

I myself have occasionally cringed at Rowdee's brutal frankness when she comes unhinged and I suspect that is the crux of some folks' issue with her.

That is only a part of it

My issue is that she is a crude coarse thoughtless phony with a "Country" affectation. She has ruined the dinner of a number of people on this thread, many times with her graphic descriptions of rural life.

I'm not bothered. I can talk that talk. I just never would in decent society. I have run ranches, lived in the country on ranches for a good part of my life. I know 'country' and no one under 75 is as 'country' as Rowdee pretends to be.

It is an afectation, like so-called cowboys who use the phrase "Hidy thar Liddle Lady" and a sure sign of someone who is a fake through and through.

I don't see any elephant. I only see an attempt to dig into the past, open old wounds and watch other people in emotional distress.

This is my fault .. I was the one who post the old threads ..

It brought back some fond memories and a lot of laughs and I thought I'd share

Mo, this is not your fault. You brought us some good memories of the good old days. Rowdee tried to use them as a lever to make as many people as possible miserable

Like you, I am only speaking for myself. Some people just express themselves that way. While I generally think that being deliberately inflammatory and resorting to namecalling is inappropriate, beyond that I can't say that speaking your mind without sanitizing your thoughts for public consumption is any better or worse a way of speaking your piece than any other. It isn't my way but I don't think it is my place to judge either.

Mo, you didn't do anything wrong.

Rowdee has to take full responsiblity for her own obnoxious post. It looks like some people did not actually read it or were making excuses for her as they read it, and didn't notice that there was no "substance" in her grandstanding lecture - and that it was full of name-calling and vitriol and spite. She claimed to care - but there is no evidence of it, and I'm not buying it.
She used OUR nostolgia (not hers) to clobber people who don't pay attention to her.
