OK, VAL.
So it's a circus theme camp, there was an end of camp show. While trying to get a seat, I was squeezing past a woman with much more bodyhair than I, and caught my pants on the threads of a projecting carriage bolt holding the bench in front together.
So I spent most of the day with a 3X3" inverted "L" shaped tear on the front of the thigh of my blue jeans at crotch level. Could have been much worse...

You don't have much luck with pants, nully... maybe you should try wearing kilts. Open up a whole new world of possible mishaps...

They kept the kids up the first night to see the Persid meteor shower.
A nice touch I forgot to suggest when I dropped them off.

The musice director was a very peacenik can't we all get along kinda guy. Wanted a lot of peace and kumbya songs.
Soooo sad, one of the other councelors was from Manhatten Island...

When we lived in Mossyrock, we dragged the flatbed trailer out back, had the neighbors turn off their outdoor lights and we all would lie out there watching the "falling stars" with neighbors coming by, too. It was a lot of fun.

When I was a Campfire Girl we had day camps all week, but we didn't stay overnight. Had to drive 40 miles every morning and afternoon to go there.

Evening, nully.....have you read the story about Trafficant in the pen in PA--about his refusal to work in the kitchen for the big bucks rather than at a job that only pays $5 a month....
Seems that might help win another election!!
